Apprentice Administration Assistant

Temporary for duration of apprenticeship (12-14 months). Role to commence as soon as possible

37 hours per week – term time only

Hourly rate £5.30 per hour (£8483.86 per year)

Hill Top Primary has an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Administration Assistant to join the team and develop their skills and knowledge in an operational role whilst completing their NVQ Level 2 Business Administration qualification with a recognised training provider.

 In the role you will provide a reception service and be the first contact for visitors in school. You will provide support to the administration team, ensuring that administrative procedures are carried out in a timely and accurate manner. Duties will include maintaining the administration database, producing general administration and supporting with day to day queries from parents and visitors.


Who are we looking for?

 You may already working in a reception or administration role and keen to study to further your career, or you may already have some work experience but looking to move into a role in a school environment.

 You must be willing to learn and have a real desire to take on the challenge of the NVQ Level 2 qualification in Business Administration. You will have a good eye for detail, good team working skills and have a methodical, well organised approach to your work. You should have GCSE English and Maths at Grade C (or equivalent) and prior work experience is preferred although not essential.

 The post is based Hill Top Primary Academy and applicants should ensure they are able to travel to the place of work before they apply.
